Businesses that hire and employ workers have many responsibilities as employers. Every business is different, and its responsibilities and requirements will vary depending on multiple factors. There are a variety of employer resources available to help business owners find workers, keep track of requirements, and submit filings.
South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Department (SCVRD)
South Carolina Vocation Rehabilitation Department (SCVRD) provides a pipeline of talented individuals to meet your workforce needs. Their Business Development Specialists (BDS) introduce employers to the benefits of hiring these individuals. Job matching starts when businesses notify SCVRD of an open position. SCVRD assesses the requirements and identifies matches using individualized career-assessment tools. The qualified candidates are pre-screened to help save employers time and money.
