To register a new business with the South Carolina Department of Revenue (SCDOR), go to the “Business Tax Application” link on the MyDORWAY homepage
To add additional tax accounts to an existing business:
To sign up for MyDORWAY, you will need the following:
FEIN, SSN, or South Carolina ID (SID)
File Number, which is used to identify business tax accounts. Examples include:
Retail License number for a sales account
Withholding number for a withholding account
As well as one of the following:
Last payment amount
Last refund amount
Line 1 from the last return
Letter ID, displayed on all SCDOR correspondence
Individual: If you have already filed Income Taxes in South Carolina, use this option to access your Individual Income Tax account
Business Owner: This option gives business owners and CEOs the ability to manage all aspects of their tax accounts, including who has access to them
Tax Account Manager: This option allows accountants and tax preparers to access employer and client accounts using one MyDORWAY username and password.
Tax Account Managers must request access to a Business Owner's account to see only the information they need to perform their role as a Tax Account Manager
