Find support, information, and help to start and grow your business. You can also size up your competition with SCDOC's newest online tool to help you make better decisions around competitive benchmarking, customers, suppliers, as well as marketing and advertising.

 

SC Division of Small & Minority Business Contracting and Certification (SMBCC)
SC Division of Small and Minority Business Contracting and Certification (SMBCC) connects minority- and women-owned small businesses to State contracting and procurement opportunities through the Material Management Office (MMO), while working with State agencies to implement and monitor minority-contracting programs in accordance with applicable policies, laws, and regulations.

 

Small Business Administration (SBA)

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) was created in 1953 as an independent agency of the federal government to aid, counsel, assist and protect the interests of small business concerns, to preserve free competitive enterprise and to maintain and strengthen the overall economy of our nation

 

SCORE
SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals through education and mentorship. We have been doing this for over fifty years.Because our work is supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and thanks to our network of 10,000 volunteers, we are able to deliver our services at no charge or at very low cost.

 

South Carolina Small Business Development Centers (SCSBDC)
Under a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Small Business Development Center (SC SBDC) program was established to aid small business start-up ventures and to assist in the continued growth of small businesses across the country. The program is supported with federal, state and private funds and is open to any present or prospective small business owner generally fee free.
